A Chicago based professional vocalist/guitarist since 1985. Lou's experience includes being the "house" guitarist at Chicago's popular night spot Carol's Pub, the "house" guitarist at Chicago's famous Double Door, as well as the lead guitarist for several Chicago area bands including The Echos Of Time, The Incognitos, and Mickey & The Memories.
A red hot guitar slinger as well as gifted vocalist , Lou also has great stage presence and is known for his energetic performances. The combination of these ingredients gained Lou the name Superpicker among his friends and admirers.
Lou lists many guitarist from Chet Atkins to Frank Zappa as influential factors but has a special fondness for the rock guitarists of the `60's.
In his 20 plus years of playing guitar professionally, Lou has performed at countless outdoor fests as either the headliner or opening for well known national acts in several midwestern states, playing before crowds of up to 10,000+ .
